The original was nominated for four Oscars, including Best Picture. No actress has been cast as the wife for now. All that is know so far is that it will be produced by Lucamar Productions (Rob Marshall and John DeLuca) and will be written by Jerry Stahl ("Bad Boys II", quite a resume killer). Like any other project, it sounds interesting, especially when such big names are involved, although I generally have a bad opinion of remakes and find them usually pointless.
